A nonprofit legal services organization is seeking an Attorney to assist with immigration cases, focusing on pro bono representation and training volunteer attorneys. The successful candidate will provide legal advice, mentor new lawyers, and engage with community partners. A Law Degree (J.D.) and admission to practice are required, along with at least one year of experience in immigration law. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred. Qualifications

• Law degree (J.D.) is mandatory.
• Admission to practice law required; Maryland Bar preferred.
• Strong preference for experience in immigration law, asylum, U visa, VAWA cases.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct representation in immigration legal matters.
• Screen cases for immigration relief, referring U visa cases.
• Interview clients and advise on legal options.
• Supervise and train volunteer attorneys.
• Engage in outreach with law firms and community partners.
• Assist in managing partnerships with Family Justice Centers.
• Complete Continuing Legal Education requirements.
