Qualifications

• 1 year experience in immigration law, preferred in asylum and U visa cases.
• Admissibility in any state or Washington, DC.
• Experience working on VAWA and Removal cases is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct representation in immigration legal matters.
• Screen cases for immigration relief, specifically U visas.
• Supervise and train volunteer and pro bono attorneys.
• Engage in outreach with law firms and community partners.
• Assist in managing partnerships with Family Justice Centers.

Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)

Written and verbal communication skills

Computing skills in PC/Windows

Education

Law Degree (J.D.)

Admission to the practice of law (Maryland Bar Preferred)
