Job summary

Sanabria & Associates, PLLC is seeking an Immigration Paralegal in Orlando, FL to support attorneys across all phases of immigration practice. The role requires bilingual Spanish/English communication, a college education or equivalent, and at least 1 year of immigration paralegal experience.

You will prepare and file USCIS forms and court documents, draft affidavits, manage deadlines, and maintain case management records. Competitive benefits and on-the-job training are provided.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file applications with USCIS, including family-based petitions, adjustment of status, provisional waivers, naturalization, and U-Visas.
  • Prepare and file applications with the Immigration Court, focusing on asylum and cancellation of removal.
  • Draft motions for Immigration Court (e.g., Motions to Change Venue, Consolidation, Substitute Counsel).
  • Communicate with clients to gather evidence and information for cases.
  • Draft affidavits with clients in support of cases.
  • Electronically file applications and motions with immigration agencies and FOIA requests when needed.
  • Organize and manage case deadlines.
  • Enter information, documents, and notes into case management software.

Responsibilities


  • Preparing and filing applications with USCIS, including but not limited to family-based petitions, adjustment of status, provisional waivers, naturalization, and U-Visas.

  • Preparing and filing applications with the Immigration Court, with high emphasis on asylum and cancellation of removal applications.

  • Drafting motions for filing with the Immigration Court, such as Motions to Change Venue, Motions to Consolidate, Motions to Substitute Counsel, etc.

  • Communicating with clients to gather evidence and information in support of their case

  • Drafting affidavits with clients in support of their case

  • Electronically file applications and requests with different immigration agencies, including but not limited to: FOIA requests with USCIS, and electronic filing of applications and motions with the Immigration Court

  • Organizing and managing case deadlines

  • Enter information, documents, and notes into case management software


Requirements
