Job summary

Sanabria & Associates, PLLC in Orlando, FL seeks an Immigration Paralegal to help with all phases of immigration filings and client support. You will prepare and file forms with USCIS and the Immigration Court, draft motions, and coordinate with supervising attorneys to ensure timely, high-quality work.

The role requires at least 1 year of immigration paralegal experience and bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish and English).
• Minimum Education: College Education or equivalent.
• Immigration Paralegal experience (At least 1 year of experience).

Responsibilities

• Preparing and filing applications with USCIS, including family-based petitions, adjustment of status, provisional waivers, naturalization, and U-Visas.
• Preparing and filing applications with the Immigration Court, focusing on asylum and cancellation of removal.
• Drafting motions for filing with the Immigration Court (e.g., Motions to Change Venue, Motions to Consolidate, Motions to Substitute Counsel).
• Communicating with clients to gather evidence and information in support of their case.
• Drafting affidavits with clients in support of their case.
• Electronically file applications and requests with different immigration agencies (e.g., FOIA with USCIS).
• Organizing and managing case deadlines.
• Enter information, documents, and notes into case management software.
