Job summary

FBT Gibbons LLP is seeking an Immigration Paralegal to support employment-based immigration matters for corporate clients. You will draft and file petitions, review supporting documents, and manage case timelines across USCIS, DOL, and DOS.

The role involves coordination with attorneys, clients, and beneficiaries to gather necessary information. The ideal candidate has strong immigration experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure while delivering

Qualifications

• Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree with a major in paralegal studies, or
• A Bachelor’s degree with an unrelated major, and have a certificate from an ABA approved paralegal training program or three years’ immigration experience or other qualifications that fit the role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file employment-based immigration petitions and applications (H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3, O-1, PERM, I-140, I-485).
• Draft and review immigration documents, such as support letters and job descriptions.
• Manage case timelines and monitor filings with USCIS, DOL, and DOS.
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and beneficiaries to collect documentation.
• Maintain case files and upload documents to the firm’s case management system.
• Track deadlines including visa expirations, RFEs, priority dates, and PERM timelines.
• Assist with responses to RFEs, audits, and government inquiries.
• Communicate case status updates to clients and respond promptly.
