Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional services experience.
• Recent Paralegal / Legal Studies graduates encouraged to apply.
• Experience with e-filing systems is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Must be willing to work in office as needed. Hybrid scheduling is not available.
• Experience or expertise in immigration matters is highly preferred.
• Must be flexible for deadlines, trial dates, and extenuating circumstances.
• Ability to work independently and with attorneys and staff to develop case strategies.
• Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability and attention to detail.
• Communicate clearly with senior counsel, paralegals, clients, and firm staff verbally and in writing.
• Prepare documents related to Petitions including waivers, purchase agreements and amendments.
• Review a high volume of closing documents for Family Case Petitions and large Asylum Petitions.
• Maintain organized electronic files of all Applications/Petitions for use by multiple team members.
• Prepare, monitor and track Applications.
• Maintain a file dashboard system and current task list with dates.
• Maintain calendar to meet deadlines and follow up.
• Coordination of closings.
• Post-closing follow up and tracking of recorded documents and owners policies.
• Other administrative tasks assigned by legal and senior management.
