Responsibilities

Job description

  • Prepare, review, and file employment-based immigration applications, including I-140 petitions, Adjustment of Status (AOS), and DS-260 applications.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, guiding them through the immigration process while ensuring timely responses and adherence to deadlines.
  • Draft, review, and revise all required immigration forms and supporting documentation prior to attorney review.
  • Monitor case progress and follow up with appropriate immigration agencies to track status and submit required inquiries.
  • Respond to client and employee inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
  • Prepare and respond to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and other government correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical case files in compliance with firm and regulatory standards.
  • Stay current on immigration laws, regulations, and compliance procedures to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including copying, scanning, and assembling filing packages.
  • Collaborate effectively with intake specialists, legal assistants, and other team members to support case processing.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 4-7 Years of BUSINESS IMMIGRATION experience.
  • Associate's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • Experience with I-140 petitions, Adjustment of Status applications, and Consular Processing (DS-260 applications).
  • Experience in PERM is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience in handling Immigration/Inadmissibility Issues.
  • Proficiency in Form Preparation and related administrative processes.
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for case management and documentation.
  • Fluency in Spanish is required.
  • Must have relevant references in business immigration.

Starting salary of $70,000, with potential for increase based on experience.
