Job description

A highly regarded New York immigration law practice is seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to join its team.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of hands-on, well-rounded immigration experience across multiple areas of immigration law. Candidates whose experience has been limited exclusively to business immigration will not be the right fit.

Candidates should have hands-on experience across both employment-based and general immigration matters, including experience with several of the following:

  • H-1B, L-1, PERM and I-140 matters
  • I-130, adjustment of status, naturalization and consular processing
  • Removal proceedings and/or applications for relief
  • RFEs, support letters, court filings and other substantive case documentation

Strong writing, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters in a sophisticated, fast-paced practice are essential.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant immigration paralegal experience. Spanish is a plus.

Compensation: $71,000–$91,000+, plus health and 401(k) benefits.
