Job summary

JCFS Chicago invites applications for a part-time, hybrid role supporting HIAS Citizenship & Immigration services. The position promotes services, coordinates citizenship programs, and builds partnerships with community organizations in Chicagoland.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, cross-cultural experience, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel/Outlook; bilingual skills are a plus. The grant funds the role through 6/30/2027, with potential extension pending funding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Cross-cultural experience with refugee/immigrant clients preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends/evenings when necessary.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Engage in outreach to promote HIAS Citizenship & Immigration services.
• Foster relationships with immigration service providers and community organizations.
• Coordinate citizenship preparation programs (classes, tutoring, referrals, materials).
• Conduct presentations on immigration topics to diverse audiences.
• Coordinate volunteer efforts with JCFS Volunteer Coordinator, including trainings.
