Job summary

Hello Neighbor, based in Pittsburgh, PA, is a nationally recognized nonprofit empowering resettled refugees and immigrants through mentorship, legal services, and workforce development. This full-time, exempt role is in-office in Pittsburgh with a hybrid schedule (9am–5pm, Mon–Fri; in-office Tue–Thu). U.S.

work authorization required; funding-dependent. The role reports to the Director of Family Health Services and leads immigration legal services, operations, and program strategy to expand

Qualifications

• Law degree and active license to practice law required.
• Minimum of three years’ experience with immigration law and procedures.
• Excellent legal skills and understanding of movement lawyering principles.
• Experience leading programs within nonprofit, legal services, or immigration-focused environments.
• Strong operational and organizational leadership skills.
• Commitment to immigrant and refugee communities.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program goals, outcomes, and evaluation metrics.
• Lead team to reach 30% of program cost funded through sliding scale fees.
• Guide development and growth of immigration legal services aligned with mission and KPIs.
• Identify opportunities to expand access to services while maintaining quality and equity.
• Supervise and support legal and program staff; foster collaboration and training.
