Job summary

Hello Neighbor, a Pittsburgh-based refugee and immigrant-serving nonprofit, seeks a collaborative CEO to guide strategy, operations, and fundraising. This role will lead a diverse staff, work with the Board, build partnerships, ensure financial sustainability, and advocate for inclusive community outcomes.

The CEO will navigate a dynamic funding landscape, steward programs for impact, and promote Hello Neighbor’s mission with passion and public grace.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a nonprofit organization or equivalent.
• Strong fundraising and donor relations track record.
• Experience with strategic planning and performance measurement.
• Excellent communication and community engagement skills.
• Ability to lead diverse teams and work with a Board.

Responsibilities

• Leads a high-performing senior leadership team and staff with a culture of transparency and collaboration.
• Oversees strategic plan execution, program impact, and organizational growth.
• Ensures financial health, budgeting, and compliance with regulations.
• Cultivates major gifts, partnerships, and government funding opportunities.
• Represents Hello Neighbor publicly and with key stakeholders.
