Job summary

Global Refuge in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Coordinator to support the Pro Bono & Partnerships team, coordinating volunteers, partners, and events to expand access to immigration legal services. The role involves administrative duties, client interactions, outreach to law firms and community partners, and occasional travel or evening/weekend work.

A Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience required or equivalent.
• Experience coordinating pro bono or community outreach is highly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; experience with immigrant populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and logistical support for the immigration legal services pro bono program, including outreach and scheduling, event planning and coordination, agenda creation, reporting, file organization, and meeting note taking.
• Maintain a database of volunteers, law firms, and community partners.
• Support the legal services and pro bono/partnership team administratively and programmatically.
• Vet and onboard new volunteers with manager and senior team members.
• Attend recruitment or community events to grow the network of volunteers and service providers.
• Coordinate on- and off-site events and training sessions.
• Distribute training resources and manage inventory of outreach materials.
• Monitor budgets and assist with monthly expense reports.
• Serve as point of contact for volunteers/partners and respond to inquiries.
