Job summary

Konare Law seeks a motivated Immigration Legal Assistant to support attorneys and paralegals by organizing cases, managing deadlines, and preparing materials. In this in-person role, you will communicate with clients and help with removal defense cases.

The ideal candidate has prior legal or office experience, excellent communication, careful attention to detail, and a commitment to serving immigrant communities.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Active listening and client interaction.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in immigration law is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize immigration case files, calendars, and deadlines.
• Communicate with clients and update on case progress.
• Assist with case preparation, litigation support, and trial materials.
• Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals on immigration matters.
• Process filings, court documents, and agency correspondence.
• Maintain confidentiality in a legal and immigration setting.
