Job summary

Fisher Phillips LLP in Atlanta is seeking an Immigration Document Clerk to join our labor and employment law team. The role involves meticulous filing of client documents, both physical and electronic, and maintaining organized file rooms.

You will scan and prepare immigration petitions for USCIS, manage shipping labels with Federal Express, and support attorneys and paralegals with various tasks. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of law firm experience, strong clerical skills, and proficiency

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a law firm preferred.
• Strong clerical skills including typing, word processing, mail handling, and contact management.

Responsibilities

• Accurately files client documents in physical and electronic files.
• Maintains organized file rooms and prepares closed files for storage or destruction.
• Copies and scans immigration petitions for USCIS filing.
• Prepares FedEx labels and tracks shipments; resolves delivery issues.
• Assists attorneys and secretaries with overflow tasks and research.
• Supports I-9 audits by printing I-9s and maintaining spreadsheets.
• Prints documents received via email and uploads to internal portal.
• Creates file folders for new matters and assists with service requests to USCIS.
