Job summary

Bowman Consulting in Reston, VA is seeking an Immigration Coordinator/Specialist (HR) to manage U.S. and global immigration matters and support employees with expiring work authorizations.

The role requires coordinating with candidates, employees, managers, and external counsel, ensuring compliance with laws, and handling visa workflows from start to finish. Strong HR and immigration knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, legal studies, business, political science or international relations.
• 4+ years of progressively responsible HR experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in immigration law, procedures and policies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and attorney collaboration.
• Proficient in MS Office and UKG Pro.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-volume project management and administration of U.S. and global immigration processes.
• Coordinate with candidates, employees, managers and external counsel, tracking data and statuses.
• Ensure compliance with immigration laws and company policies.
• Draft and edit visa support letters and forms as needed.
• Manage visa processes from start to finish across multiple regions.
