Job summary

The United States Senate is seeking a personable Constituent Liaison to join the Constituent Affairs team in New York, NY. The role handles a high volume of casework across immigration and government services, ensuring responsive problem solving for constituents contacting the office.

Ideal candidates have federal casework experience or immigration paralegal background, with excellent communication, organization, and discretion.

Qualifications

One year direct service experience preferred, especially federal immigration casework or immigration paralegal work.
Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to engage with senior staff, officials, and constituents.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; able to work on a fast-paced, collaborative team.
Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive issues.
Experience with CRM software.
Foreign language skills and NY residency preferred.

Responsibilities

Liaison between the Senator's office and constituents seeking assistance with matters pending before federal agencies.
Maintain and analyze case records in online case management system; track trends and update training materials.
Lead onboarding and contribute to training and development of interns.
Address constituent concerns, facilitate meetings, and provide information.
Collaborate with staff to coordinate strategies aligning with legislative and constituent goals.
