Job summary

CoreCivic in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Case Processing Specialist to provide case processing and administrative support to ICE, handling records management and document preparation. You will enter data into ICE systems, coordinate with agencies, assemble court materials, and assist with docketing, hearings, and removal logistics.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field and at least one year in criminal justice, with strong MS Office skills and attention

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Social or Behavioral Science, or related field.
• One year of experience in criminal justice, corrections, or a related field.
• Experience and/or training in reviewing law enforcement documentation preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide case processing and administrative support for ICE, including records management and document preparation.
• Enter case data into ICE systems, ensure accuracy and data integrity.
• Retrieve and organize court records and supporting materials for ICE review.
• Assist ICE legal in obtaining criminal history checks and documentation.
• Prepare and manage case files; support docketing and notifications to ICE.
• Coordinate with EOIR and USCIS for hearings and adjudications.
• Review paperwork for Stay of Deportation/OSUP or bond applications for completeness.
• Coordinate with ICE on interviews, hearings, removals, and updates.
• Maintain case status records and generate reports.
• Track release conditions and report violations to ICE liaison.
• Organize removal documents and coordinate scheduling and travel documents.
• Verify detainees have necessary paperwork, medications, and valuables before transfer.
• Perform routine duties ensuring safety and welfare checks.
• Domestic travel may be required.
