Job summary

CoreCivic is seeking a Case Processing Specialist in Minnesota to support ICE case processing and records management. The role involves maintaining files, coordinating with agencies, and ensuring privacy and data security.

You will enter data, prepare documents, and assist with scheduling hearings, with travel as needed. A bachelor's degree and one year in criminal justice or a related field are preferred.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Minnesota with potential travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Social or Behavioral Science, or related field required.
• One year of experience in criminal justice, corrections, or related field required.
• Experience reviewing law enforcement documentation or conducting immigration/detention interviews preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and detail-oriented skills required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.

Responsibilities

• Provides case processing and administrative support to ICE mission; maintains and processes immigration records and documents.
• Enters case data into ICE systems and coordinates data quality with ICE.
• Retrieves, compiles and organizes court records and case materials for ICE review.
• Assists ICE legal representatives with criminal history checks and supporting documentation.
• Prepares and manages case files, updates A-files, and notifies docket officers for ICE action.
• Coordinates with EOIR/USCIS and ICE officers to schedule hearings and adjudications.
• Reviews filings for Stay of Deportation/Removal, OSUP, OR, bonds and related documents.
• Maintains case status and scheduling details; generates reports and dashboards.
• Tracks release conditions and reports violations to ICE liaison.
• Organizes removal documents and coordinates with ICE for scheduling and transport.
• Verifies paperwork, medication quantities and travel documents for detainees.
