Job summary

Nilan Johnson Lewis seeks an Immigration Case Manager to join its Corporate Immigration team. This role supports experienced immigration attorneys in a collaborative, client-facing environment and emphasizes organization and process orientation.

You will manage preparation, filing, tracking, and follow-up of employment-based immigration matters, coordinate with HR and clients, and contribute to efficient case processing while maintaining high-quality service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in employment-based immigration.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in legal studies or related field.
• Strong technical aptitude; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with immigration-related government agencies and processing issues.
• Collaborative team player with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support on petitions and applications including H-1B, L-1, O-1 and PERM applications.
• Prepare and draft immigration petitions and supporting documentation.
• Review and organize case files; escalate matters to attorneys as needed.
• Prepare immigration status reports, checklists, templates, and correspondence.
• Maintain immigration database, status tracking, and form repositories.
• Coordinate with HR, legal staff, and clients; assist with billing and scheduling.
