Key Responsibilities
IEE is seeking a full-time, experienced Immigration Case Manager to assist with providing support to attorneys, legal professionals, and human resource specialists, and to act as a liaison between our immigration partners, our IEE sales and operational teams, and our contract expert opinion writers.
- Reviews documentation received from clients which may include academic credentials, professional work history, and various forms and official communications from USCIS, DOL, and AAO.
- Provides options to clients about potential solutions IEE may be able to offer, including credential evaluations and expert opinion letters.
- Coordinates services with IEE production teams or IEE contract experts, ensuring the client is informed of cost and turnaround time.
- Ensures contract experts have all information they need to accurately and quickly provide the letter(s) requested; assists with editing letters as needed
- Ensures contract experts understand how to receive prompt payment for their work.
- Acts as primary point of contact for immigration partners who require consultation or have questions or escalations
- May assist with recruiting of additional expert opinion writers; may assist with training additional immigration support staff as needed
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or diploma in paralegal studies, or bachelor’s degree (any field) preferred
- 3+ years of experience in immigration law or international HR required
- Working familiarity with USCIS Forms I-140, I-485, I-129
- Strong understanding of the basic requirements for following immigration categories: H1B, L1, EB1, EB2, TN
- Able to reasonably interpret RFEs, NOIDs, Decisions, PERM Labor Certs or LCAs
- Detail oriented, analytical, flexible, collaborative
- Strong customer service ethic with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S
- High levels of professionalism and confidentiality
Schedule
- Full-time (40 hours), generally Mon-Fri
- Flexible start/end times depending on time zone where employee is located
- Travel Requirements: less than 5%
