Job summary

Green and Spiegel seeks an experienced immigration attorney to independently address routine legal matters, conduct client consultations, and accompany clients to interviews. You will formulate case strategies, oversee document production, and draft complex materials under limited supervision.

The role requires JD and State Bar membership, strong research skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines while collaborating with the team.

Qualifications

• JD degree or equivalent and member of the state bar.
• Ability to work independently on common legal issues and escalate when needed.
• Strong understanding of immigration law and agency practices.
• Excellent time management and organization for caseloads.
• Proactive, detail oriented, and team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and case updates to clients with minimal supervision.
• Conduct or contribute to client consultations.
• accompany clients to interviews and in-person matters.
• Formulate case strategy for assigned cases.
• Oversee production of case materials (drafts, filings).
• Draft complex case materials (RFE responses, etc.).
• Serve as a primary client point of contact with other teams.
• Lead or participate in case status meetings with support staff.
• Address questions from support staff and provide guidance.
• Review drafts and final submissions as primary reviewer.
• Maintain organized, legally compliant client files.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on immigration developments.
• Participate in required professional development.
• Represent Green and Spiegel at client and industry functions.
