IMMIGRATION ATTORNEY

Brigante Law Group, Inc is a dynamic and rapidly growing Law Firm providing expert U.S. Immigration solutions to clients throughout the western hemisphere. As we expand our team, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Immigration Attorney to join our talented roster.

As an Immigration Attorney in Brigante Law Group, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in providing technical expertise and exceptional service to our clients in matters related to U.S. Immigration Law. Reporting directly to the managing attorneys, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of immigration cases and maintaining the highest standards of quality control. We’re looking for someone who has previously worked with family and humanitarian visas such as I-130s, I-485s, VAWA, U-Visa, T-Visa, etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Approving packets to be sent to USCIS.
  • Review and prepare Immigration applications for filing with the appropriate government agency (including VAWA/I-360, T Visa/I-914, U Visa/I-918, I-485 (LPR), I-130, I-765, I-131).
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of U.S. Immigration laws, regulations, and procedures to provide accurate and up-to-date counsel to clients (training will also be provided).
  • Communicate with clients regarding procedural and case processing issues, while preparing and reviewing cases.
  • Utilize case management system regularly to update case processing status and any client information.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues, demonstrating a strong sense of empathy and understanding.
  • Handle client inquiries with professionalism and empathy, providing clear explanations and guidance through different media.

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed U.S. Attorney.
  • At least 1-4 years of Immigration Law experience, ideally with at least 1 year of VAWA/T-Visa/Humanitarian experience.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. Immigration admissibility rules.
  • Preferably experience in U.S. Immigration Law, with a focus on technical aspects and legal case review.
  • Proficient editing and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Proven ability to interact professionally with clients in person and over the phone.

Job Details

Job type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 USD per year (higher salary may be available commensurate with experience).

Schedule: Weekends as needed

Work Location: Remote

Experience: Immigration Law (1 – 4 years preferred).

Language: English/Spanish (Required).

License/Certification: Bar (Required).
