We're looking for an admitted attorney for an exciting Associate Immigration Attorney position within a premier law firm with room for growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Associate Attorney to gain valuable experience and further their career with an established firm in the Greater Los Angeles Area.

As an Associate Attorney, you will report to the Sr. Associate Attorney, manage your caseload, interact with clients, and collaborate with our Immigration Team of Attorneys and legal assistants.

Responsibilities

1. Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions
2. Represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings at the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals
3. Manage workload of cases
4. Visit and conduct intake with detained individuals at centers
5. Prepare diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based immigration petitions
6. Review immigration applications/packets and make necessary adjustments
7. Work with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations on immigration law updates
8. Meet with potential clients for strategic consultations and determine necessary strategies
9. Develop strategies and prepare clients/witnesses for court/USCIS testimony
10. Provide legal analysis to determine case benefits
11. Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases

Pay Range: $80k - $120k USD

Qualifications

1. 1 to 4 years of Immigration Law Experience
2. Team player willing to collaborate and strategize with colleagues
3. Preferably bilingual (English/Spanish)
4. Excellent interpersonal skills
5. Proven ability to handle a caseload and move cases forward
6. Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and USCIS applications
7. Experience with Case Management Software is preferred
