El Rescate is looking for an Immigration Attorney to handle legal matters related to immigration. This includes interpreting and advising on migration, citizenship, U-Visas, VAWA cases, political asylum, family petitions, and adjustment of status.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Represent clients before Immigration Courts and Asylum Offices on all immigrant and non-immigrant visa matters.
2. Provide solutions and explain complex immigration concepts clearly.
3. Maintain organized case files and public records.
4. Respond accurately and promptly to inquiries.
5. Interact with clients, governmental agencies, officials, and media as needed.
6. Collaborate with the immigration team on legal issues related to employee and candidate immigration services.

About You

• Must be able to obtain a Government Clearance.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and policies, with strong fact-gathering and problem analysis skills.
• Have practical knowledge to assess case requirements and determine legal actions.
• Be skilled in recognizing case dimensions, identifying necessary information, and developing recommendations aligned with program requirements.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, using appropriate legal reasoning and organization of facts.
