Job summary

Fragomen in Dallas, TX is seeking a Business Immigration Associate. The role requires a U.S. JD or LLM and admission to a US state or DC bar. You will develop case strategies, counsel clients, and manage immigration program compliance with a dedicated, diverse team.

You will communicate with clients, draft legal documents, and mentor junior staff while driving quality and efficiency in a fast-paced practice area.

Qualifications

• U.S. JD or LLM required; bar admission to a US State bar or DC is expected.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced immigration environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop case strategies, including researching, drafting, reviewing and counseling clients.
• Regularly communicate with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedures and strategy.
• Support clients in immigration program management and compliance.
• Assess eligibility for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status.
• Draft and prepare letters and legal documents based on precedents.
• Directly or indirectly supervise junior associates and staff; mentor teammates.
• Contribute to process improvements and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Use firm technology accurately and enter data precisely.
• Participate in team meetings and firm-wide activities.
