Qualifications

• U.S. JD or LLM required.
• Member of a U.S. State bar or Washington, D.C. bar association.
• 2–3 years of experience at associate level.
• Expanded practical understanding of immigration law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Dedication to exceptional client service.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment with competing demands.

Responsibilities

• Develop an expert‑level understanding of client base, industries, and firm practice areas.
• Develop case strategies, including researching, drafting, reviewing, counseling clients and triaging initiations.
• Identify and resolve escalations and underperformance.
• Regularly communicate with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural and case‑processing issues and strategy.
• Support clients in immigration program management and compliance.
• Assess eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for visa status.
• Prepare petitions and applications for submission to government agencies.
• Draft and prepare letters and legal documents based on precedents.
• Conduct research to support client requests and projects.
• Proactively communicate with clients within SLAs and team protocols.
• Partner with colleagues to resolve client issues and support projects.
• Supervise junior associates and staff, providing mentoring and immigration knowledge.
• Seek opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and standardization across processes.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and implement guidance from supervisors.
• Use firm technology accurately and ensure data entry is complete.
