Job summary

The Momentary is seeking an Extended Reality Simulation Specialist to lead the daily implementation and support of simulation, innovation, and modeling technology for our School of Medicine. The role acts as the technical lead for experiential learning activities involving diverse simulation systems and rapid prototyping medical equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical implementation of simulation and modeling systems within the learning activity.
• Serve as technical expert for simulation modeling systems and peripherals.
• Ensure functionality aligns with scenario objectives and expected outcomes.
• Author simulation programs and instructional guides for internal use.
• Provide technical assistance to users for accessing, operating, and troubleshooting simulation technologies.
• Investigate and drive innovation in immersive technology, XR, and data visualization.
• Provide excellent customer service to faculty, staff, students and guests.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams to support curricula and events.
• Maintain and update simulation software, hardware, and peripherals.
