Job summary

Walt Disney Imagineering in Glendale, CA seeks a Project Engineering intern to support technical coordination across Design and Planning disciplines on a themed entertainment project. You will assist with coordination between Creative, Show and Ride studios and help move documents from concept through construction.

You will participate in ICE sessions, assist with QA/QC of design docs and respond to RFIs and field conditions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
• Enrollment as a Junior or higher, pursuing a degree while applying for the internship.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineer or Design Manager in coordination from concept through construction.
• Coordinate D&P documents, models, specs across disciplines and divisions.
• Facilitate ICE sessions and design reviews with teams across studios.
• Support QA/QC of design docs and field construction processes.
• Address questions from construction documents and RFIs on site.
• Track facility punch lists and manage document release with control staff.
• Provide input to assist project decisions and change orders.
