Job summary

Rail Events Productions is seeking a Lighting Technician/Operator for THE POLAR EXPRESS Train Ride in Oklahoma City. You will install, operate, and maintain lighting systems, collaborating with the lighting designer, production team, and on-site managers throughout pre-production and the run.

You must have experience with theatrical lighting and ETC EOS/ION, with the ability to adapt to changing directions, evenings, weekends, and a fast-paced environment aboard a moving train.

Qualifications

• Experience as a theatrical/entertainment lighting system technician/electrician.
• Experience with programming and operating ETC software and consoles (EOS/ION).
• Ability to work with production staff as a team in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and work evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, and repair lighting systems during the event.
• Collaborate with lighting designer and production staff during rehearsals for changes.
• Assist audio technicians with sound systems as needed.
• Support load-out and ensure space is returned to railroad standards.
• Maintain lighting designs in line with national production direction.
• Adhere to safety policies and foster a positive team environment.
