Job summary

Museum of Ice Cream is seeking a proactive Facilities & Maintenance Manager to oversee the safety, reliability, and presentation of our immersive museum environment in Las Vegas. You will manage building systems, exhibits, cleaning operations, and seasonal installations while leading a cross-functional team to deliver a magical guest experience.

The role requires 3+ years in facilities or maintenance management within hospitality or entertainment venues, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of facilities or maintenance management experience in hospitality, attractions, museums, or similar environments.
• Experience maintaining building systems and mechanical equipment.
• Experience overseeing cleaning operations or environmental services.
• Must be able to regularly lift and move objects up to 100lbs and operate associated equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities, ensuring they are clean, safe and welcoming for guests.
• Oversee immersive exhibits, installations and mechanical elements used in experiential venues.
• Lead preventative maintenance programs for facility systems and equipment.
• Supervise cleaning staff and manage schedules and vendors.
• Recruit, hire and onboard Facilities Technicians and coordinate onboarding.
• Manage vendor relationships including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fabricators.
• Support activations, installations and de-installations of themed elements.
