Job summary

Meow Wolf in Denver is seeking a Security Officer for a seasonal, part-time position (~20 hours per week). You will patrol the exhibit, protect people and property, and coordinate with the Security Manager. The role requires strong customer service and the ability to respond to emergencies with poise.

Responsibilities include incident reporting, enforcing policies, and assisting guests with safety. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Security.
• Proficiency in English, verbal, and writing.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Customer service driven with outstanding communication and active listening skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Must have previous computer experience and excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills to write incident reports.
• Solution-oriented and not stopped by “paper walls”.

Responsibilities

• Complete all daily reports and incident reports.
• Monitor and enforce company policies and laws.
• Control guests entering and exiting the venue.
• Interact with guests and employees professionally.
• Provide First Aid, CPR, and AED as needed.
• Respond to emergencies including fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life or property.
• Direct evacuations during emergencies and assist guests.
• Escort security vendors and employees with money pickup/drop-offs.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the venue.
• Exhibit a high degree of motivation toward guest satisfaction.
