Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH is hiring a UT immersion technician to support field and shop inspections. You will set up, calibrate, and operate immersion ultrasonic equipment and automated testing systems.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, NAS 410 Level I/II, and hands-on ultrasonic experience with Matec, ScanMaster, or OKOS/ODIS. Proficiency in Word and Excel, strong attention to detail, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with preferred technical training.
• NAS 410 Level I/II certification.
• Hands-on immersion ultrasonic experience.
• Proficiency with Matec, ScanMaster and OKOS/ODIS.
• Word and Excel proficiency; familiarity with quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate immersion ultrasonic equipment and automated testing systems with minimal supervision.
• Conduct ultrasonic examinations on materials and components, interpret results against acceptance criteria to detect discontinuities or corrosion.
• Accurately record inspection data, document findings clearly, maintain traceability, and manage quality records.
• Perform minor equipment adjustments and maintenance; adhere to approved NDT procedures; uphold safety and quality compliance.
• Coordinate workflow within the inspection cell team; communicate results and resolve quality issues.
