Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education, Chinese Language, or closely related field.
• Valid teaching certification with an endorsement in Chinese language teaching (preferred).
• Experience teaching at lower to high school levels and strong Chinese language arts knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Teach Chinese language courses for students in grades K–5 following the school curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver daily lessons emphasizing reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse abilities including multilingual learners.
• Assess and provide timely feedback on classwork, homework, and essays.
• Maintain clear classroom expectations and a respectful learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress and expectations.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum, assessment, and events.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development as needed.
