Job summary

Cape Cod Collaborative in Osterville, MA is seeking a dependable LTS Substitute School Bus / Fleet Mechanic to join our transportation team. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, diagnostics, inspections, and repairs to ensure safe student transport across multiple districts.

We welcome candidates with a wide range of experience and offer compensation based on experience level. 40 hours/week, with on-call duties for emergencies and winter operations.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing and servicing school buses, medium/heavy-duty trucks, or commercial fleets.
• Licenses: Valid Driver’s License; CDL Class B with endorsements preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet of school buses, vans, and transit vehicles.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic/air brake, suspension, heating/AC, and engine systems.
