Responsibilities

• Assist in small group pupil instruction and tutor pupils as requested.
• Maintain discipline and support the teacher.
• Set up classroom and prepare materials for instructional units.
• Handle attendance reports and related clerical tasks with the teacher, secretary, or principal.
• Assemble and hang materials on bulletin boards and keep displays current.
• Operate standard school equipment (laminator, copier, AV devices).
• Escort children to and from various rooms.
• Follow direction from the Certified Teacher and implement IEP objectives.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the principal.
