Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin. The IMCU RN will provide specialized care to acutely ill adults in a fast-paced hospital setting during a 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week, nights.

Requirements include WI RN license or compact, 2+ years acute care, Cardiac Telemetry, Ventilator and transplant experience, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Travelers float as needed with a 50-mile local rule.

Qualifications

• Valid WI RN license or compact RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Cardiac Telemetry, Ventilator and transplant experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Must pass telemetry exam prior to start; maximum of two attempts.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to acutely ill adult patients.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in IMCU.
• Float as needed with local 50 mile rule (locals not accepted).
• Deliver care for post-transplant and complex cardiopulmonary cases.
