Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel assignment in Madison, Wisconsin. This IMCU RN role covers thoracic surgery patients in a Magnet-designated facility, with 13-week duration, 36 hours weekly, and 12-hour day shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm.

Qualifications

• Two years of acute care experience within last three years.
• Current WI RN or compact RN license.
• Pass telemetry exam with two attempts.
• Willing to float to support unit needs.

Responsibilities

• Care for thoracic surgery patients including lung/esophageal cases.
• Assist with chest tube insertions and monitor cardiac telemetry.
• Provide comprehensive postoperative nursing care.
• Administer blood products and manage arterial lines as needed.
