Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for Springfield, Illinois. This IMCU role requires night shifts and a 38-bed unit in a Level I trauma center, with a 13-week assignment and Cerner charting.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to manage complex cardiac and neuro cases. The ideal candidate holds an Illinois RN license, BLS and NIHSS certifications, with telemetry/stepdown experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in IMCU/telemetry.
• Valid Illinois RN license and BLS certification.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Telemetry, neurology and stepdown experience expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a 38-bed IMCU unit.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and manage post-cardiac procedures.
• Care for ventilated patients with advanced cardiac monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including RT, radiology and pharmacy.
