Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU Travel Nurse for a travel assignment in Springfield, Illinois. The role requires 1-2 years of recent acute care ICU experience, ACLS and BLS, and NIH certifications.

Schedule features 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts and travel employment status. Responsibilities include direct bedside ICU care, documenting physician-directed plans, monitoring patients, and coordinating with families and the health care team.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with ICU experience is required.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications are required.
• 2 years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients in an ICU setting.
• Provide direct patient care, document and implement care plans.
• Educate and support patients and families, coordinate with care team.
• Administer medications, interpret lab results and monitor equipment.
