Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Massachusetts. The unit is a 42-bed Medical Intermediate Care Unit with split between medical-telemetry and step-down services.

This assignment requires ACLS and BLS certs, 1–2 years of RN experience, night shifts (12 hours) and a minimum of 36 hours per week. Located in Springfield, MA, with float coverage to other units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care in a 42-bed IMCU split between medical-telemetry and step-down services.
• Manage patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, and other acute illnesses in a fast-paced environment.
• Float to other units; RN duties involve both sides of the floor (medical-telemetry and intermediate care).
• Care for patients with pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, DKA, HHS, GI bleeding, sepsis, PE, UTIs, respiratory failure, etc.
