Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the IMCU at Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains, NJ. The dayshift runs 7am–7pm, and the RN will collaborate with physicians and care teams to monitor patients, administer medications, document care and educate patients and families.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure in the state, and BLS; ACLS is preferred and a BSN is often valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active RN licensure.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS is preferred.
• Current RN license must be in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to care for patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities.
• Monitor patients, administer medications, keep records and educate patients.
• Assist with care planning and communicate changes in patient status.
