Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). The 40-bed unit cares for adult cardiac, stroke, and multi‑organ dysfunction patients with specialized monitoring and care.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, individualized care plans, medication administration, team collaboration, and documentation in the EMR to ensure safe, high‑quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program.
• RN license.
• BLS certification or within 30 days of starting in this role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and create, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Provide care to adult patients with cardiac conditions, stroke, and multi‑organ dysfunction.
• Monitor patients closely, recognize changes, and escalate concerns to ensure safety.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per standards of care.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record and collaborate with the care team.
