Job summary

NC State Vet Hospital in Raleigh, NC is seeking an IMC Veterinary Assistant to support patient care, post-operative care, drug administration, controlled substances, infectious disease management, and coordinated rounds in a demanding 24/7 facility. Minimum one year of experience in a veterinary setting is preferred.

You will monitor patients, perform IV venipuncture and catheter placement, calculate and administer medications, and communicate clearly with the care team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a specialty veterinary hospital preferred.
• Ability to monitor ill patients and provide needed care.
• Ability to perform IV venipuncture and catheter placement.

Responsibilities
