Job summary

Aspirus Eagle River Hospital in Wisconsin is seeking an Imaging Technologist to perform radiographic and CT examinations of the highest quality in a night shift. This full-time (.9 FTE) role includes supervision of students and adherence to patient satisfaction standards.

The position requires ARRT(R) certification, Wisconsin radiographer license, BLS, and completion of an approved radiography program. Prior imaging experience is beneficial, with on-site training available for CT duties.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved radiography program or associate degree in Radiography.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• State of Wisconsin Radiographer license.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Knowledge of imaging services standards and procedures.
• Site-specific competencies in protocols, equipment, and computer systems.

Night only 7/70, 4pm - 2am with call coverage

Job Description

The Imaging Technologist performs radiographic and CT examinations of the highest possible quality in multiple modalities. Comply with measures to ensure that patient/customer satisfaction results are consistently maintained. Appropriately supervises students according to competency level. Will function as CT Scan Technologist performing duties stated in those job descriptions (training is available).

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of Imaging Services standards and procedures as they relate to radiographic procedures normally acquired through graduation from an approved radiography school, an associate degree in Radiography, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and/or State of Wisconsin Radiographer licensure requirements.


• Previous applicable experience beneficial.


• ARRT (R) required.

• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, online manikin, and knowledge testing. An acceptable training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.
