Job summary

Aspirus Eagle River Hospital in Wisconsin is seeking an Imaging Intern to join our Radiology team. The student trainee will work with general radiography procedures and gain hands-on experience under supervision of a registered technologist until competencies are met.

Current enrollment in an approved radiography program is required; prior acute care experience helps, and the role requires BLS certification or completion within 90 days of hire, plus site-specific competencies across protocols,

Aspirus Eagle River Hospital in Eagle River, WI is seeking a IMAGING INTERN to join our RADIOLOGY team!

The Imaging Intern is a student trainee with broad-base knowledge of general radiography science and procedures. The student may have limited clinical experience and is evolving their clinical skills. The practitioner operates various types of equipment in a progressive manner of mastery and independence. Clinical experiences occur under the general supervision of a registered technologist until competencies for their modality are met.

HOURS

Occasional hours; scheduling to be determined based on student availability and department need

Experience/Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an approved radiography program.
• Previous work experience in an acute care setting is beneficial but not required.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
