Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute MRI exams.
• Assist radiologists and other physicians in performing examinations when necessary.
• Assess patient condition and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Produce high-quality radiographic images.

In this role, the Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of primarily MRI services. You'll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcome patients/visitors/staff & assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include assess patient condition, produce good quality radiographic images, & ensure adherence to safety standards. This position will primarily cover MRI.

This is a part-time position, working every Sunday 6:30am - 9:00pm. This position will cover Brooklyn Methodist Hospital (BMH) inpatient and outpatient services, and Center for Community Health (CCH) coverage as needed.

Preferred Criteria

• N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification
• ARRT Advanced Modality certification
• At least 1 year of experience

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology
• N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
