Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a radiologic imaging intern to perform procedures under supervision at Winter Haven. This role supports Medical Imaging teams within our facility and adheres to the clinical program requirements and licensure standards.

The internship is structured as a PRN, on-site role with variable shifts; the student should be currently enrolled in radiology, nuclear medicine, or ultrasound and must hold BLS credentials. Training occurs within Imaging Central Ops Womens-WHH.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited imaging program.
• Must meet all requirements of the specified internship/training program.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures under the general supervision of Medical Imaging team members.
• Perform procedures according to requirements of the clinical program they are enrolled in and practices within licensure requirements for given imaging modality.

Summary: Perform imaging procedures under the general supervision of Medical Imaging team members, performs imaging procedures utilizing the guidelines of the professional practice standards of specific modalities the co-op experience is in. Perform procedures according to requirements of clinical program they are enrolled in and practices within the licensure requirements for given imaging modality.
