Job summary

El Centro Regional Medical Center is seeking an Imaging Technologist II to perform standard diagnostic X-ray procedures across all patient ages, including fluoroscopy, portable and surgical exams. The role requires a California Radiologic Technologist license and a valid fluoroscopy license, plus BLS certification.

Cross-training in CT, MRI or Mammography is required, enabling independent work and versatile imaging support within the Medical Imaging department.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiology Technologist by the State of California.
• California Fluoroscopy License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard diagnostic x-ray procedures across neonatal to geriatric patients, including routine, portable, surgical and fluoroscopy exams.
• Cross-train and operate CT, MRI or Mammography modalities as required.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and radiation safety regulations.
• Work independently and in collaboration with care teams to ensure quality imaging.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Imaging Technologist II performs all standard diagnostic x-ray procedure on pre-mature neo-natal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients to include fluoroscopy, portable, surgical and routine exams. Must be licensed as a California Radiologic Technologist. Must comply with OSHA standards and regulations involving potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens as well as ionizing radiation. This position requires cross training in one of the following modalities: CT Scan, MRI or Mammography.

• Licensed Radiology Technologist by the State of California
• California Fluoroscopy License
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Proficient and able to function independently in CT Scan, Mammography and MRI

Position Pay Range: $29.17- $48.23/hour
