Job summary

Alaska Regional Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an Imaging Technologist to perform radiologic procedures including portable exams and C-arm work, ensuring high-quality images for physicians.

Ideal candidates will hold ARRT-R Radiography certification or be within 1 year of obtaining it, have Basic Cardiac Life Support, and be a Vocational School Graduate, delivering compassionate care in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• ARRT-R Radiography must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Provide proper procedures with excellent quality images to assist the physician in diagnosis.
• Perform imaging procedures in radiology department as well as portable exams and C-arm procedures.
• Schedule, plan, implement and complete requests for service, maintaining a friendly, compassionate environment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development; understand appropriate treatment for patient groups.
• Stay up to date with current imaging techniques and procedures.

Schedule: Sat, Sun, Mon 7:30am-8:00pm (3-12 hour shifts per week)

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Imaging Technologist, you will performprofessional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative.We pride ourselves in knowing that our employees are compassionate, kind and deliver high quality, patient centered care. In this role:

• You will be responsible for providing to the patient, the proper procedure with excellent quality images to assist the physician in the diagnosis of the patient’s condition or health complaint.
• You will perform a variety of imaging procedures in the radiology department as well as portable exams and c-arm procedures throughout the hospital.
• You will be responsible to schedule, plan, implement and complete the request for service and provide a friendly and compassionate environment in keeping with the “care like family” mission of the hospital.
• You will possess knowledge of growth and development; and have an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.
• You will be responsible to stay up to date of current techniques and procedures.

What qualifications you will need:
