Job summary

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services is seeking a skilled radiologic technologist to perform X-ray and CT imaging with minimal supervision. The role involves operating PACS systems, ensuring accurate documentation, and delivering compassionate patient care across multiple facilities.

Applicants should hold ARRT radiography certification, CT certification (or obtain within 12 months), and a minimum of two years in imaging.

Qualifications

• Radiologic technologist certification and ARRT radiography registration.
• CT certification required or obtained within 12 months.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of radiologic/imaging experience; CT and ER experience preferred.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment (X-Ray, CT, CR reader, PACS).
• Perform imaging exams per policies and report results to physicians.
• Assist healthcare staff and provide compassionate patient care.
• Maintain documentation in paper and electronic formats.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policies and ensure quality control.
• Conduct routine maintenance and record-keeping on imaging equipment for at least two years.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under supervision.
• Provide ER technician duties and travel between facility locations.
